Open Auditions for “A Crazy Little Café Called Love”
Theatre 7 is hosting two days of open auditions for the comedy A Crazy Little Café Called Love. Auditions will start at 6:30 p.m. November 18 and 19 at Theatre 7, located at 131 N. Water St., in downtown Decatur. The show will be performed as a dinner theatre at the Hall@520 on January 29 and 30, 2027. Link to more info.
Please come prepared to read a selection from the script. Bring your calendar to provide any scheduling conflicts you may have from November to the performance dates. Actors do not need to attend both nights of auditions. Directed by Kathy Zientara, rehearsals will be three days a week starting the week of November 30. These will be broken into small individual scenes, so actors will not have to be at every rehearsal.
A crazy, fast-paced day of comedy and romance at the Love Café. Linda has a blind date, Bob is casting a movie, the waitress likes the monk, old Mr. Philips wants a séance, and the bride’s dad is livid! Throw in a frantic bride, her theatrical mother, a dancing nun, and an apologetic groom, and you have a comic hit! A Crazy Little Café Called Love is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals. www.concordtheatricals.com
