

What to know for auditions ...
Theatre 7 is looking for actors for upcoming productions!

Theatre 7 typically holds two nights of auditions at its headquarters, 131 N. Water St.

Show rehearsals are usually on weekday evenings from 6-8 p.m.

Bring your calendar to provide any schedule conflicts. Scheduling conflicts must be included and may impact casting.
Play Auditions:

You will be asked to read/act from a few selected scenes with other auditionees.
Musical Auditions:

You will be asked to read/act from a few selected scenes with other auditionees.

Come prepared to sing 1 - 1.5 minutes of a song of your choice.

You can bring sheet music, a track on your phone that you can play through our speaker (must be a track without other voices, like a karaoke version), or you could choose to sing acapella.

You will learn a short dance and perform it in a small group without the choreographer.

"Sister Act" is a disco-infused musical where a nightclub singer in the witness protection program hides out in a struggling convent. She finds her salvation with a sisterhood of tone-deaf nuns as they discover the divine can sometimes include sequins, gospel choirs, jazz hands, and a good key change.
