Support the Arts

Theatre 7 is a 501(c)3 volunteer-run nonprofit organization that has provided high quality, live stage shows for the greater Decatur area since 1964. Everything from the costumes, to the sets to the choreography are created by our talented volunteers.

How YOU can help

Look, we know there are a lot of places you can donate, but art is powerful. Studies have shown the arts can unify communities, drive tourism and strengthen the local economy.

Theatre 7 operates on ticket sales, patronages, donations, advertising and sponsorships. Our goal is to keep ticket prices affordable at $15 so everyone can see a show. But that isn’t easy and we need donor support. All donations are tax-deductible.

6 Ways YOU can help

Become a Patron

Patrons, at all donation levels, get a season pass. This allows you to select your seats before ticket sales are opened to the general public. You will be acknowledged in our shows programs. Patrons can also vote on the JayJay acting awards at the end of the season. Purchase a patronage online  or call (217) 362-2008.

This fund was created by a generous gift from Doug and Peg Schmalz and provides a steady income stream that helps support our mission now and in the future. This fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Macon County.

Buy a program ad for your business or for someone in the show for as little as $20. Advertisements are available for one show or the season.

Sponsorships are available for the season or an individual show for as little as $350 and include program, website and social media advertisements and ticket packages.

Make a donation in someone’s memory, donate to specific fund (i.e. costumes, sound equiptment, etc.) or make a general donation and we’ll decide where your funds can best be used.
